Skagit River Wonder Open Mic: Poetry, Stories, & Music Join us for the 2nd annual Skagit River Wonder event at the Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center in Rockport, WA on February 15th from 1pm to 2:30pm. We invite our community to once again gather for an open mic event to share poetry, stories, and musical performances around our appreciation of the Skagit River and its watershed (also open to all topics). FUNDRAISER: This year this event will be a fundraiser for flood-impacted households in eastern Skagit County. This is a free event, but please donate what you can to support our community members. Everyone is welcome! Funds raised will go to the East County Flood Fund and benefit local flood-impacted households, in partnership with Community Action’s East County Resource Center. Funds are being used by the East County Resource Center to provide resources such as propane, firewood, food, clothing and other basic needs.
