Event Description:
The 12th Biennial Skagit River Poetry Festival will be held on October 3-5, 2024 in the historic town of La Conner, WA. This three-day event is a celebration of poetry where attendees will mingle with internationally famous poets in intimate venues for presentations, discussions, and readings. The lineup includes Ellen Bass, Chen Chen, Robert Wrigley, and Ilya Kaminsky, plus 30 other poets who will inspire, challenge, and enrich our audiences. Presented by the nonprofit organization the Skagit River Poetry Foundation, all proceeds benefit the foundation’s mission to support lifelong literacy and cultural diversity through poetry.
