First Annual Mystery Day: The Case of the Slain Slough Swindler
On the banks of the Swinomish Channel, a murder was committed. In mid-1870 a caravan of travelers arrived in La Conner, planning to open businesses and buy land along the Channel. All of them were shocked when they found out one member had been murdered. To solve the mystery, sleuths will find clues at sponsored La Conner shops located on the mystery day newspaper map. Costumed suspects will wander the streets answering questions and assuring everyone they are innocent and have nothing to do with the murder. Are you going to believe them?

At 5:15 on March 25 the murderer will be arrested in Maple Hall by Sheriff Cuffs-Out. A raffle for the correct answer will follow. You do not need to be present to win.
