- We're looking forward to an evening with Five Star Cellars owner Dave Huse, who will join us for a 5-course Winemaker's Dinner at the Majestic Inn & Spa in Anacortes on Friday, March 8th. This historical landmark in downtown Anacortes was built in 1890, and was beautifully renovated in 2013. The property features an award-winning spa, restaurant, bar (including a rooftop bar) and tastefully decorated rooms, all within walking distance of shops in the old town section. They also host weddings and numerous events throughout the year. After tasting through the line up with Chef Gerlach we've put together some dishes that will pair nicely with Dave's wines. A sparkling wine reception starts at 6:15, with first course at 7 p.m. Cost is $99 per person + tax & gratuity. Seating is limited to 25 and RSVP is required by calling the shop at 360.466.1758; a Visa/MC/Discover card is needed to confirm. You'll be able to order all featured wines during the evening, with special 20% case discounts offered.
