CLASS: Valentine Printmaking at MoNA

Please join local teaching artist Deirdre Czoberek to make some art in honor of her most favorite special occasion, Valentine’s Day! After designing and carving a design on a soft-cut block, each participant will get the opportunity to print one or many delightful cards. Deirdre will show you the basics of working out a reproducible design and the techniques to carve into the soft-cut linoleum and demonstrate best methods of hand printing.
MoNA is one of Deirdre’s favorite art centers. Starting as a tour guide for the MoNA Link program many moons ago, she transitioned into an instructor and frequent guest teacher with the family art programs.
