Event Description:
In this class taught by local artist, Laura Parker, parent and child will work side by side and often together to explore the beginning foundations of painting. Together we will explore color mixing, watercolor, tempera and acrylic paint while learning about landscape painting, still life, abstract, collage, and mixed media art. Works of art from the museum will be incorporated into the theme of each class. Ages: 3-9 + Parent Note: this class will be offered three separate days: October 19, 10:30 am-12:30 pm November 14, 3:00 pm-5:00 pm November 16, 10:30 am -12:30 pm
