Event Description:
In this class taught by local artist, Laura Parker, adult and child will work side by side exploring still life drawing and introduction to acrylic paint. Your child will choose their favorite stuffed animal and the adult can choose a favorite object. We will learn about still lifes by drawing your favorite objects. We will then proceed to learn a few basics on using acrylic paint, including color theory, composition and layering. Using acrylic we will paint our favorites objects that have been drawn on canvas. This class will be taking place on Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants.
