Join us Saturday, March 23 for the 2nd Annual La Conner Murder Mystery! It is 1924 in La Conner, Washington. Prohibition is in full swing, with bootleggers sailing to Vancouver Island by night and returning with illegal liquor. A known rumrunner, Jack Danielson, has been found murdered downtown. It is up to you to interview the suspects, gather the clues, sift through the evidence, and decide who the guilty party is.
Al Malone is the rival rumrunner competing with the murdered Jack Danielson. Jack has had the monopoly on supplying bootlegged liquor to the speakeasies of La Conner, but Al is starting to hone in on his territory. With his swift boat, Al can skirt by the Prohibition agents in the San Juans and easily make it to Victoria and back in one night, his hull filled to the brim with smuggled booze.
Maisie Buchanan is Al Malone's moll, who has a gig as a speakeasy singer in town. Loyal and protective of her swell, Maisie and Al see themselves as rivals to Jack Danielson and his moll, Bonnie McClyde. But Maisie may be hiding some secrets of her own, especially where Jack is concerned ...
