Susan Madsen, Restoration Ecologist for the Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group will give a presentation about restoration projects that are reconnecting floodplain habitats in the Skagit River watershed to increase habitat availability for Puget Sound Chinook salmon. Chinook Salmon are the primary prey species of Orca whales so these restoration projects will help increase the amount of food available to our dwindling Orca populations
