Skagit Community Band Presents: “Night and Day” “Our annual jazz concert featuring vocalist Joan Penney and the SCB Jazz Band.” Saturday April 27 La Conner – Maple Hall 7:30 p.m. Sunday April 29 Anacortes - Brodniak Hall 3:00 p.m. Join the Skagit Community Band in their annual Spring Swing concert. The SCB with be featuring vocalist Joan Penney singing “Someone to Watch Over Me and “They Can’t Take That Away From Me.” The concert band selections include: “Symphonic Duke”, “An American In Paris” and the music of James Reese Europe’s 364 Hellfighter Band” This concert also features the SCB Jazz Band performing the music Sammy Nestico and Bill Evans featuring and more.
