Event Description:
Beginning April 12, the Artist will be in her exhibit to talk with visitors. Don’t miss this opportunity to talk with the artist one-on-one! Marianne does a unique variation of a Kantha stitch (a stitch from India); this stitch, combined with her hand painted silk fabrics, creates a surface rich in texture and color. Burr’s work has been featured in prestigious art quilt shows, exhibitions, and publications around the globe, including the US, Brazil, Japan, France, Australia, and Germany.
